If Tommy is the light then Oliver is the dark and Drew doesn’t know where he wants to be. After refusing to leave Tommy for Oliver, Oliver almost had Drew killed. Money has been able to buy her out of anything but she has never allowed herself the luxury of trust, stability, or really known true love. Sean Mercer (Ash Nair) has been her boyfriend on and off for the last several years. Their feelings for one another are intense but neither one can let the other one in all the way, because doing that would mean they were vulnerable to one another. Barely alive after a brutal car crash, Mallorie is in a coma as her friends rally behind her.
Sean Mercer played by Ash Nair
The playboy billionaire trust fund baby that you wish was your best friend. Private jets, fast cars and lots of women are constants in Sean’s life. His love for Mallorie Watson (Jessica Osgood) is all consuming and his insecurities have gotten the best of him in his relationship with her. His father is a senator and his family is extremely affluent. Sean has had to basically raise himself and his friendships are like his family. They mean everything to him. With everything anyone could want he is still just a human being with his own issues. Even when Mallorie was faithful to him he felt that she would eventually stray because he himself finds it hard to believe any one person can stay faithful to another completely. He is Drew’s (Bryan James) best friend and the two have in the past liked to indulge in sinful frat boy fun. Struggling with Mallorie’s accident that put her in a coma, Sean is barely hanging on emotionally as Season 3 begins.
Tommy Dinato played by Ethan Daniel Corbett
The perfect man. Drew’s (Bryan James) true love and soulmate, Tommy Dinato came back to town after struggling with his own sexual identity when he was a freshman at Westfield Prep and fell in love with Drew Castle. He just returned senior year to win back Drew and openly become a couple, which he did, and they now are. As senior year progresses he is learning to deal with new challenges that go along with being in a relationship with another person. He and Drew live together and are planning on spending their lives as one after graduation. Surviving the attack against his and Drew’s life that was set into motion by Oliver Cardin (Easton Schirra), he will do anything it takes to protect himself and the people he loves moving forward. Tommy is more aggressive and defensive going into Season 3. He also is becoming more aware how strong the connection is that Drew shares with Oliver in secret. Tommy has plans to major in journalism and wants to find the truth and the good in every situation and shine a light on it. Disconnected from his family after they disowned him for being gay, he has turned to Drew even more intensely. Tommy likes to plan ahead in life for things and he has everything mapped out, including eventually potentially buying a house and a ring for Drew.
Cody Ryan played by David Loren
Drew’s (Bryan James) best friend and a former drug dealer, he was expelled from Westfield Prep shortly before he was due to graduate. He and Drew continued to feed the trust fund brats their illegal fixes until Drew wound up beaten and in a coma after a drug deal went south. That made Cody change his ways and clean up his act. He always has Drew’s back whenever he needs it. A nice guy who never really had a home, he became a member in the trio of orphans that are Drew, Becca (Sarah Hester) and himself. Drew’s parents died when he was younger and he moved in with his Aunt Kathy to survive. Becca, Drew’s cousin, moved in last summer and never left either, having come from her own broken family and needing stability. Cody is 19 years old and is like the big brother to the gang still in high school that goes to Westfield Prep. Living at Aunt Kathy’s with Drew, Becca and Tommy (Ethan Daniel Corbett), Cody has been in deep mourning over the death of his girlfriend who also happened to be Drew’s sister and Becca’s cousin. Having developed strong feelings for his deceased girlfriends cousin Becca slowly over time and being there as she ODed and nearly died herself, Cody is more determined than ever to win over who he believes could be the girl of his dreams and to never deal with or watch anyone else deal with death again.
Becca Malone played by Sarah Hester
A bad girl from the wrong side of the tracks Becca Malone came to town looking for one thing – money. Having been raised on nothing, being related to the wealthy one percent infuriated her. Shared in a brief tryst with Colin Morris (Mike C Manning) when she first arrived in town but stayed relatively solo looking for cash not romance. After over dosing on cocaine and nearly losing her life, Becca continues to have substance abuse problems. With an old flame named Travis (James Preston) back in her life, how long can she juggle her drug habit and her future plans before it all explodes in her face?
Natalie Cardin played by Jen Lilley
Running away from her past and hiding out from her family, Natalie works a run down dive bar, where she brings an element of grace and compassion to the lost souls that live there. Natalie doesn’t want to have anything to do with the money or the power that comes with being a Cardin. Because power ultimately corrupts, and she has seen that first hand. Natalie has had no contact with her brother Oliver (Easton Schirra) in years. She graduated high school and immediately left town. Now at the tender age of 20 she takes care of herself completely. Ultimately Natalie is a hero, a warrior living her life quietly away from the chaos that she felt her family inflicted on others. Natalie lost both of her parents at a young age, her mother dying first, and her father remarrying before his own untimely death. Violence has followed her for most of her life. She is a counselor for a teen crisis hotline when she is not working at the bar. Her friends and coworkers Monica (Jade Harlow) and Tiffany (Candice Moll) have her back no matter how dangerous the situation.
Colin Morris played by Mike C Manning
A rebel with a cause, Colin is 19 years old and recently relocated to sunny California from the mid west. His abusive and destructive family life leads his mother to take him and his little sisters away from their past. After a brief encounter with Becca (Sarah Hester) in season two, he is generally isolated from the rest of the gang, and knows no one. Dealing with family trauma constantly, Colin’s only source of satisfaction comes from his art. Colin balances trying to “make it” as an artist and provide money for his little sisters. His list of enemies keeps growing as he does whatever he needs to do to stay on his feet and make sure that his family survives. Colin at times can have anger issues, he can be hot headed and loose self control. A ladies man, he usually doesn’t end his nights wanting for much. He is a creative soul and can be seen with his sketch pad almost always. Colin has a recurring problem trying to self medicate or drink away his pain, and that leads him into all sorts of trouble.
Sheila Edmundson played by Brittany Underwood
A bad girl with something to prove, Sheila is a resident of the rehabilitation facility that Becca Malone (Sarah Hester) gets placed in. She is naughty, deceptive and out for blood. Whose blood? Anyone that gets in her way. Her origins remain a mystery and she likes it that way. If you are on Sheila’s bad side, you should just leave town, because you will be destroyed. If she has any connections or bonds she views them as a threat to her tough girl exterior and keeps them to herself. She has her reasons for being the way that she is, she has had to do whatever was necessary to even be in the picture. Cold and calculating, Becca doesn’t know what she has in store for her once Sheila becomes her roommate in rehab.
Tyler Dean played by Jonathan Lipnicki
A hit man who is after Natalie Cardin (Jen Lilley), his intentions are not pure and his motives are anything but understandable, yet underneath all of that lies a real human being who isn’t sure if he is doing the right thing. As he gets to know her as a person his job is harder to accomplish. He ultimately develops genuine feelings for Natalie and wants to protect her no matter what the cost. His boss who hired him to kill Natalie is someone that will upset and shock Natalie to discover. He eventually tries to get a job at Cardin Unlimited
